Dr Helen Hasan is an Associate Professor in the Australia Health Services Research Institute at the University of Wollongong. She created the Special Interest Group SIGGreen of the international Association for Information Systems and is Director of the NSW Australian Computer Society’s Green IT Group.
Jaden Harris has been a campaigner on climate change for the past 8 years. He co-founded the Sydney Youth Climate Action Network, featured in the 100% Ready ‘Stories from the Clean Energy Frontline’ campaign, was the NSW Campaigns Coordinator for the Australian Youth Climate Coalition. He currently serves on the Board of OzGreen, a sustainability education charity.
Dr Chadi Aoun is a Senior Lecturer in Information Systems at the University of Technology, Sydney. Chadi’s main interests are in the areas of Sustainability Management, Green Information Systems, E-Collaboration, and Social Media. His research, teaching, and consulting applies a transdiciplinary approach to understanding the competitive advantage of adopting a sustainable perspective, enabled by Information Systems. Chadi is the Chair of SIGGreen at the Association for Information Systems (AIS).
Dr Sarah Perkins is an ARC DECRA research fellow at the Climate Change Research Centre at UNSW. The main focus of her research is on heatwaves – how they are measured, what drives them, how they are changing, and the human contribution behind these changes. She also plays an active role in the communication of climate science to the general public, including the development of an interactive heatwave website (scorcher.org.au), writing for The Conversation, and various television and radio interviews with national and international media.
