Noel Castree (University of Manchester/UOW)
Noel Castree is a Professor in the Department of Geography & Sustainable Communities at UOW and a Professor of Geography at the University of Manchester. He teaches about how environmental issues are framed by various mainstream and alternative institutions. His recent publications examine the frames utilitised by geoscientists advocating the concepts of planetary boundaries, tipping points and the Anthropocene.
Katrina Skellern (Macquarie)
Katrina has fifteen years corporate, local and state government experience in the sustainability, business and community development sectors. She has project managed a large range of business and community sustainability, health and infrastructure development projects and strategic planning studies. She is currently enrolled as a PhD Candidate with Macquarie University researching regional sustainable transitions. Katrina’s recent project and work experience involved managing the implementation of the Green Jobs Illawarra project.
George Takacs (UOW)
Dr George Takacs is a Lecturer in Physics at the University of Wollongong. He is a member of the Australian Solar Council and International Solar Energy Council he also serves as a Councillor on Wollongong City Council.
Samuel Wilson (Swinburne)
Dr Samuel Wilson is a registered psychologist and Research Fellow at the Swinburne Leadership Institute at Swinburne University of Technology. He is co-convener of the sustainability leadership learning community of the International Leadership Association. His research includes interdisciplinary studies of community resilience, public beliefs about leadership for the greater good, and the causes and consequences of future-oriented mindsets.
