It’s all over – well, not quite

October 25, 2015

Thanks to everyone for making the first Global Climate Change Week such a success! From a standing start in May this year we got 289 registrations from academics in around 40 countries, and countless great activities took place. We plan to build on this foundation to develop an even bigger and better Global Climate Change Week next year.

In the meantime we will keep accepting signatories for our Open Letter until the end of November. Nearly 1100 academics have signed the letter now and translations into French and Spanish are available on our website, so if you have networks that speak those languages please promote the letter there. Other translations are forthcoming.

We will also keep promoting our thunderclap until the end of November, so please help us with that too. Currently, the thunderclap has 63 supporters and a social reach of 119,084 people.

So once more thanks for all your great work, and see you on the People’s Climate March on 29 November!
